From basics to implementation

The training focuses on the development of software applications, their implementation in code and their design. Different development and design techniques are used here.

In the field of development, students learn how to code web and mobile applications, and current topics such as cloud computing, software engineering and front/backend development with modern programming languages are also taught.

In the design area, students learn the basics of design, work with current design tools, and develop their own media content. By combining both topics, students acquire the know-how to implement their own app ideas.

Digital business models

The development of digital solutions always goes hand in hand with planning how they will later be used. For this reason, students also learn about the business management background that enables the successful use of such solutions.

Another focus is the promotion of entrepreneurial thinking in order to further strengthen the students' very good job prospects in the market. Qualification in a foreign language, a semester abroad fully integrated into the program, and a professional internship in a globally active company ensure the international orientation of this degree program. This course is also recognized in the "FiT-Frauen in die Technik" (AMS) program, thereby contributing to the advancement of women.

Recognition of prior learning

Students have the opportunity to have courses credited to them with previously acquired competencies before the start of the respective semester. The crediting is done by an application directly to the director of studies.
