Freudige Gesichter und emotionale Momente prägten die Sponsionsfeier 2024 an der FH Kufstein Tirol. Mit insgesamt fünf festlichen Zeremonien an zwei Tagen wurden in Summe 328 Absolvent:innen aus 24 Studiengängen verabschiedet – ein Ereignis, das noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird.
Equipment rental and laboratory use
Students, faculty, and staff of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol can rent laboratory equipment for free. This includes access to both the tools needed for educational use as well as advanced high-tech equipment. As a result, students can gain hands-on experience in using the latest technology and can keep up to date with the most recent developments. Students are further encouraged to use the equipment in practical application.

The equipment is available to students, faculty, and staff of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol. Since some pieces of equipment require special training and/or supervision, we ask that you contact the person responsible for the management of a particular lab. In the area of software, the focus is primarily on ROS and Gazebo systems. Possible application examples would be swarm-based search or obstacle algorithms or the testing of new drone prototypes.
Research Services
The Drone Lab is available free of charge to the degree programs of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol and their students.
Services offered range from a purely cost-based provision of hardware (research space, drones, etc.) to in-depth support by our drone teams within the context of research projects and development activities.

The WEB Lab at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol boasts flexible IT equipment and is designed for the development and testing of web applications and mobile applications. In addition to an independent server infrastructure, appropriate end devices are likewise available here. The lab also has an AR/VR area where applications in the field of augmented and virtual reality can be developed, simulated, and tested. The lab’s servers also provide tools and computing capacity for analyzing and modeling complex data.
